Hej och välkommen!

Welcome to this abandoned Sulfite mill in Essvik by the city of Sundsvall, Sweden. Constructed in the late 1800s and in use until the 1970s. After production ended the area housed various chemical and mechanical businesses, offices and an art studio. The site is heavily contaminated and a plan its cleanup has been formed by the community but is yet to come in effect when writing this (August 2024).
