Welcome to the old foundry! Most of the site has been extended and remade several
times over the years which makes it diffucult to envision the original structures.

Hello!

Yours truly

[EN] Initially a mechanical workshop founded in the late 19th century which was transformed into a foundry, active during 1916-1994. Once the pride of the city it was famous for its cast iron wood stoves and dairy industry appliances. Also farming equipment like plows as well as household items like mangles, scales and lawn mowers were manufactured. At its peak some 300-400 workers were employed here.

Today parts of the site is used by smaller companies for storage and as offices. Recently a fire ruined parts of the foundry and the future of the complex seems uncertain.
